In simple words
A birth chart is split into 12 houses, and each house is an area of life. The 9th house is about: philosophy, higher learning, travel, faith.
Planets sitting in this house in your chart bring their energy to this area of life. An empty house is normal; it still matters. Houses need your exact birth time.
What the 9th house covers
It shows what you believe, how you learn big ideas and where your curiosity travels, in the world or in the mind. Planets here make you a seeker, a teacher or a traveller. Publishing and law also belong to this house.
