In simple words
Capricorn is one of the 12 zodiac signs (22 December – 19 January). It is a earth sign (element) and a cardinal sign (mode), ruled by Saturn.
In a few words, Capricorn is about ambition, patience, responsibility, endurance. If your Sun, Moon or rising sign is Capricorn, this page describes part of you.
The Capricorn nature
You are patient, careful and quietly determined. While others dream about the work, you are already building it. You make the most of every opportunity and rarely waste time or resources. Beneath a reserved surface is a dry humour and a deep sense of duty. You understand that the best things take time, and you are willing to give them that time.
In love
You show love through reliability: being there, providing, keeping your word. You may take a while to open up, and you prefer actions to declarations. A partner who respects your ambitions and helps you rest earns your lifelong loyalty. Remember to say the soft things too; they matter as much as the practical ones.
At work
You excel at management, planning, building, finance, government, science and any field where long-term effort pays off. People trust you with large responsibilities because you handle them calmly. You rise through your own effort and tend to stay in leadership once you arrive.
The shadow side
Under strain you can become cold, pessimistic or rigid, measuring your worth only by achievement. When you notice gloom setting in, reach for people, not just more work.
Growth
Your gift is endurance. Your growth is in resting without guilt and letting hope be as practical as planning. When heaviness comes, change of scenery, cheerful company and time outdoors lift you quickly. You are allowed to enjoy the climb, not only the view at the top.
