In simple words
In astrology every planet stands for one part of you. Mars stands for: drive, courage, desire, action.
The sign Mars was in when you were born shows how that part of you works; the house shows where in life it shows up. Find yours in the list below, or open your chart.
Mars in your chart
Its sign shows how you act and assert yourself; its house shows where you put your effort and where conflict tends to arise. A strong Mars gives stamina and nerve.
At its best
Brave, enterprising, energetic and constructive. You start things, protect people and get results.
Under strain
Impatience, combativeness, rashness or a short temper. Energy with nowhere to go turns into irritation.
Growing with Mars
Give your fire a target. Physical movement, clear goals and honest boundaries let Mars build rather than burn.
