In simple words
In astrology every planet stands for one part of you. Sun stands for: identity, vitality, purpose, will.
The sign Sun was in when you were born shows how that part of you works; the house shows where in life it shows up. Find yours in the list below, or open your chart.
Sun in your chart
Its sign describes your basic style and what you are here to become; its house shows the area of life where you most want to shine and be recognised. When people say "your sign", they mean the sign your Sun was in at birth.
At its best
Vital, generous, dignified and brave. You know who you are and lend others confidence simply by being yourself.
Under strain
Pride, a need to be at the centre, or the opposite: a dimmed sense of self that waits for permission to take up space.
Growing with Sun
Do one thing each day that feels unmistakably like you. Purpose grows from small, honest acts of self-expression, not from waiting for the perfect stage.
