In simple words
In astrology every planet stands for one part of you. Mercury stands for: thinking, speech, learning, skill.
The sign Mercury was in when you were born shows how that part of you works; the house shows where in life it shows up. Find yours in the list below, or open your chart.
Mercury in your chart
Its sign shows your thinking style, quick or careful, playful or precise; its house shows what your mind returns to most. When Mercury appears to move backward in the sky, plans and messages need extra care.
At its best
Quick-witted, articulate, curious and skilful with hands and words. You explain, translate and connect.
Under strain
Restlessness, scattered attention, overthinking or careless words. A busy mind can forget to listen.
Growing with Mercury
Give your mind one clear thing to chew on at a time, and write it down. Listening fully before answering is the most underrated communication skill.
