In simple words
Your life path number comes from your full birth date: add up the digits and reduce them to one number (11, 22 and 33 stay as they are). It describes the road you walk in life.
Life path 7 is called "The Seeker". Read Gifts for your strengths and Challenges for what to work on. The worked example at the bottom shows exactly how it is calculated.
Gifts
A clear, original mind that sees past the surface. You notice patterns others miss, ask the question nobody else thought of, and often hold an intuition that turns out to be right. Many sevens are natural researchers, writers and quiet specialists. Travel, books and far-off ideas feed you.
Challenges
Doubt is the shadow of a searching mind. You may keep people at a distance until they prove themselves, or second-guess your own knowing until the moment passes. Retreat can restore you, or it can become a habit of hiding.
Life path 7 in love
You need a partner who respects your need for time alone and does not take it personally. Closeness grows when you let someone into the thinking you usually do in private. Trust built slowly holds for a long time.
Life path 7 at work
You thrive where depth is valued over speed: analysis, research, craft, teaching, anything that rewards mastery. Plans come easily to you; carrying them through is where your effort pays off. Choose one idea and follow it to the end.
Growing as a 7
Practise trusting before you have every answer. Share one unfinished thought a day with someone you respect. Openness is not the opposite of wisdom; for you, it is the next step of it.
How to calculate it
Reduce the month, the day and the year of birth to single digits (keeping 11, 22 and 33), then add them and reduce again. For example, 5 January 1990:
- Month 1
- Day 5
- Year 1990 → 19 → 10 → 1
- 1 + 5 + 1 = 7
